This is one of the questions I receive by email most frequently. Although prices are so divergent throughout the country, the general answer is that the nationwide cost of breast augmentation from pre-op to post-op is 6,000 - $8,000 on the average. When you ask your doctor "how much" your procedure will cost, be sure to ask if the price they give you includes the cost of the implants, anesthesia, hospital costs (if applicable) and follow-up consultations.   Many times, you'll be quoted just the surgeon's fee.  Here are the 2007 National Average surgeon's fees for various procedures, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Please be sure to find out in advance what provisions will be made if you are unhappy. Will a revision or replacement be done for full, partial or no discount?
